Roommate Lamp Series imagines interior objects as personalities in a home. Rhythmically connecting and growing each piece with hand-bent loops allows imperfection and irregularity in the design to bring focus to organic beauty and warmth within a space.
I imagined interior objects as personalities in a home. The Roommate lamp functions like a houseplant, brightening up our daily lives.
After completing the Roommate Stand Lamp, I expanded the design to include a desktop lamp featuring a small candelabra globe bulb and thinner steel rods for the loops.
